Fragrance oils are most widely available and come in a variety of grade levels at every price point, so care should be utilized in their selection. To dilute their tendency to make the air heavy with a thick aroma after extended burning and to increase the component of luxury, some fragrance oils include a blend of naturally-derived essential oils. A direct correlation exists between the percentage of essential oils in a fragrance blend and its grade level (the more highly valued the fragrance blend, the more essential oils it contains). My personal favorite, Patchouli Fir. It's remarkable secret? The percentage of essential oils in the Patchouli Fir fragrance blend is a whopping 98%, and yet, its scent is the most intense of any candle, lit or unlit, on the market today. It's amazing! I love the fresh, invigorating forest aroma. I use this candle when I'm moving about my home or having large parties. Others feel the same way about Jasmine Geranium. Both are in Akewakee's White Medallion line. If you'd like to experience a fragrance blend from our new Extra Virgin collection, Rose Bark couples sophisticated rose petals with the deep grounding notes of aged wood. Very pleasant and unique, a perfect marriage of both feminine and masculine components.
